工作經歷

戴博士在學術界已逾十五年,在企業界擔任顧問與高階管理職務長達二十年,曾任革新意外保險公司專業經理人、彼得杜拉克管理研究所的高階管理系主任、以及克雷蒙大學企管研究所所長。1997戴博士更因其於惠特學院的傑出教學而獲頒Harry S. Nerhood 獎,此外,他也一直在派丁大學商學院授課。
 

家庭介紹

戴仁傑是個十分愛家的新好男人。他與妻子淑慎在俄亥俄州肯特州立大學的新生說明會上一見鍾情,結婚至今已三十五年。1981年他們帶著第一個女兒往加州遷移,之後另外二個女兒在棕泉市出生。仁傑與淑慎在加州快樂極了,因為住在陽光燦爛的地方一直是他們的夢想。他們的大女兒嫁給了他們眼中【世界上最好的女婿】,二人育有一子,仁傑五世現在十七個月大。仁傑很喜歡與孫子在一起,對他而言,當祖父的感覺真是帥呆了。三個女兒都住在南加州,仁傑為著能常見到女兒們而深深地感謝上帝。教學、坐在露臺上閱讀、帶領位於約帕琳達的朋友教會的社區小組都帶給仁傑許多樂趣,然而,仁傑最愛做的事則是與淑慎遠離塵囂以及一二個星期一次的家族聚會。仁傑有教導的恩賜,他以學生正大光明的成就為榮。

  • 1997-98 Director of the Executive Management and MBA programs at the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at the Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, California. Responsible for managing school operations, supervising adjunct faculty, admitting new students, class scheduling, and student advising.
  • 1988-91 President of the Personal Finance Company, Covina, California. Chief Operating Officer in charge of consumer finance operations with 120 employees and $40 million in assets. Served as Chairman of the California Financial Services Association Independent Section.
  • 1984-88 Vice President and Senior Regional Manager for Progressive Casualty Insurance Company, Cleveland, Ohio. I managed a region with $24 million in sales per year with sixty-five employees. Functional responsibilities included operations, accounting, account service, sales, and product management. My organization serviced over sixty consumer finance lenders with more than three hundred branch offices. Progressive acquired the Leon Greenberg Company./td>
  • 1981-84 President of Leon Greenberg Company General Insurance Agency, Palm Desert, California. I led twenty-four employees and we collectively generated $6 million per year in sales. During my tenure, the business grew from a $2 million base in 1981. My responsibilities included sales, service, claims, and underwriting. In 1984 this company was sold to Progressive Casualty Insurance Company.
  • 1978-81 Senior Product Manager with Progressive Casualty Insurance Company, Cleveland, Ohio. Responsible for national marketing of credit insurance products. Activities included development of insurance coverage plans, pricing, sales strategy, and underwriting rules.
  • 1975-78 Supervisor of purchasing development with the Babcock & Wilcox Company, Barberton, Ohio (now part of Asea Brown Bavari). Participated in corporate audits, development of purchasing procedures, and supported important cost reduction opportunities.
